Aszur + Shaunna || The Manor House, Colorado
These ladies have a special place in my heart. Last year we tooled around Denver for their awesome engagement shoot, and I dreamed about their wedding day a little bit every day after. I'm so excited to finally share their wedding on the blog!
Shaunna and Aszur are two amazing women who are so in love with each other it's hard to look away (luckily as a photographer it's my job to keep looking). They met through flag football, have a solid group of kick-ass friends who were a blast to hang out with at the wedding, and have one of the cutest engagement stories I've ever heard - it includes a Christmas-time twinkly light proposal with art supplies everywhere, and a little phrase that goes "I want to paint my life with you." They are serious about their whisk(e)y, passionate about their football and friends, and we are so happy we got to celebrate with them on their wedding day.
The Manor House in Ken Caryl was the perfect setting for a beautiful outdoor ceremony, a small lightning storm that quickly passed over and created the most beautiful double rainbow arching over their dance party, followed by an ice cream truck that delivered legit dessert to everyone during the reception. I don't think it gets much more awesome than that.
