Julie + Chris || Lory State Park, Colorado

Guy from Nebraska meets woman from Kansas, gets married in Colorado- living happily ever after!

When we say we love our couples, it's people like Julie and Chris who make that statement true time and again. Since we don't take on more than 20 weddings per year, we are able to really get to know each of our couples, and often become good friends with them! A lot of our couples are referred to us by previous couples, or friends who know people who are getting married, so we already know we have 400 things in common, and chatting about the wedding is just a bonus! For people who we're meeting for the first time, it usually only takes a few minutes before we feel like we've known each other forever, and that we should invite them over for dinner the next week. We just are so lucky to work with such amazing people! We love hearing about how you met- we love your engagement story - we love hearing about your wedding planning, and we love being involved in any way we can. Obviously we're there for your full wedding day, but in the meetings and emails and phone calls or skype dates before the big day, we love hearing about how everything is going, and getting to know every detail!

Julie and Chris had a beautiful wedding at the best spot in Lory State Park (I might be biased, as it's the same place we got married two years ago!) with gorgeous sunny Colorado weather, and lots of friends and family around. They had their first look above Horsetooth Reservoir, and held their reception at a local Fort Collins brewery. They had one of the most fun and funky bands we've ever seen - Wash Park Band - with lots of dancing, and delicious food and beer (duh- it's Fort Collins). We seriously couldn't ask for better people to work with, and we're so lucky to get to do this for a living!
