Wellbody Woman + Topo Designs || Summer TRIBE Program || Fort Collins, Colorado || Part 2 of 3
This is part two (of three, don't you worry, there's more to come!) from the Wellbody Woman's summer TRIBE program backpacking trip. After a few group hikes around the foothills of Fort Collins, and along the front range together, we had our second meet up at the local Fort Collins Topo Designs shop in Old Town. The point of this meeting was to bring EVERYTHING for the trip, pack our bags, and make sure they were weighted correctly, fit to our bodies, and filled with everything we would need for the trip. We were all planning on rooming together in shared tents, and divvied up the lists of items to bring, evening out the load between everyone's packs. The Topo night was fun, and necessary for logistics, but then once everything was figured out, our bags were packed, tried on, fitted, and re-packed, we were able to shop the store after-hours, getting any last-minute items we needed (or wanted) and enjoying some rosé and Montucky Cold Snacks. We also got our swag : Wellbody Woman quick-dry towels, adorable camping mugs with a beautiful design painted on them, custom made for our trip, by June Poppies Designs, Pockitudes, natural bug spray (that works!!!!) made by the local ladies of H2a Botanicals (who came with us on the trip!), and adorable little flowers from Deuter to hold our mugs to our bags (because it's good to have quick access in the wilderness- you never know when you're going to want to drink hot chocolate or coffee or whiskey!). These ladies were such a joy to get to photograph and get to know, and I'm excited to share the actual trip photos here soon!
