Fortified Collaborations 3 Forks Progressive Farm Dinner || Mulberry Community Gardens and Hope Farms
The second annual 3 Forks Progressive Farm Dinner happens to have been the second farm dinner from Fortified Collaborations this season. Aimed at a more active and adventurous diner, the farm dinner started at Odell Brewing with a 3.5 mile bike ride lead by Bike Fort Collins across the city to Mulberry Community Gardens for light appetizers from The Welsh Rabbit Cheese Shop and refreshments from Rocky Mountain Soda Company. After some conversation, brie, fresh vegetables, grape sodas, and a rest, the ride continued another 3.5 miles northeast across the city to Hope Farms. The ride was worth it because waiting for us at Hope Farms was an amazing local beer and farm dinner featuring Black Bottle Brewery, Funkwerks, Odell Brewing Company, The Silver Seed, and The Tramp About. This time around the menu featured local, farm-fresh produce supplied by Garden Sweet, and Liberty Farms, amazing local cheese from MoCo Cheese, yummy mushrooms from Hazel Dell Mushrooms, and breads by the fabulous Ingrained Bakery.
The whole experience made for an incredible Sunday summer evening. We rode around town with a bunch of delightful people, hung out at cool farms, ate delicious food, and drank amazing beverages with all the proceeds going to The Growing Project. Win Win! It is about as "Fort Collins" as Fort Collins gets. Oh and I forgot to mention that there was a campfire with cook your own s'mores for dessert. It was amazing! Three more dinners are on deck this year and they are all going to be fantastic, so do yourself a favor and do not miss them! Get your tickets HERE.
Kristina and Malia are blowing it up over there, but Fortified couldn't pull it off without their sponsors. - Green Team Real Estate, Motherlove, Poudre Valley Community Farms, Renewablue, Rocky Mountain Publishing, White Balcony, KUNC and The Colorado Sound.
